Later on this month, the second annual UKEurovision Preview Party takes place in London. On Friday 17th (the night after the scandipop club night), hordes of Eurovision fans will descend upon the Scala concert venue in Kings Cross to see performances from a select few acts that are taking part in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. At the moment, fans can look forward to the artists representing Poland, Cyprus, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Belarus, and making up the Scandinavian quota – Iceland! More acts will be announced in the coming weeks – with some special guests lined up too.
We went along to the Preview Party last year and had an amazing time. Not just because of the performances from the Eurovision acts, but also because of the fact that the Scala dancefloor becomes a Schlager party, after the gig! It was great to be able to go to a concert with such a strong line up of performers – and then to be able to dance until 3am to everyone’s favourite modern day Schlager classics! And this year should be no different, so we’ll be there until the bitter end again!
