This morning we awoke to find the tweet of all tweets waiting for us in our mentions timeline. TomKei had some amazing news for us – S.O.A.P. are back!
The semi-legendary 90’s Danish pop duo are the featured vocalists on a new club track to come out in Denmark this week. Kongsted & Emerge feat S.O.A.P., with ‘You Got That (Right Energy)’. We’ve yet to hear the full track, but there’s a sizeable enough clip on You Tube right now.
Ok so it’s not exactly the explosion of pure pop that we’re used to from the sisters, Heidi and Line. BUT IT’S A START! The start, we hope, of a long and fruitful comeback that sees S.O.A.P. release something of their own. A single perhaps. Or dare we dream….another album?
You’ll all know their big hit ‘This Is How We Party’, but let’s remind ourselves of what else they’re capable of, with a couple of underrated gems from their much lesser know second album;
