Swedish pop duo, Man Meadow, should be a familial-ish name to schlager fans. Thus far, they’re most famous for their Thomas G:Son composed attempts at representing Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest – in 2008 with ‘Viva La Musica’, and again in 2009 with ‘Love’s Gonna Get You’. Well now they’re back, and this time in their native Sweden, with a new single ‘Eaten Alive’.
‘Tis a cover of the Diana Ross hit from the 80’s, and the boys have actually been performing it as part of their repertoire for quite some time. But it’s now that the track is getting a single release. They performed it last night on stage in Stockholm, as part of the city’s Pride festival which is going on this week. And they’ll be back on the Kungsträdgården stage on Thursday, to perform their aforementioned schlager tracks.
