UK radio is getting its own show solely dedicated to Swedish pop music this weekend.
Gaydio’s Swedish Invasion with Alex Goldberg
Live from Stockholm Pride 2011
For two hours on Sunday, UK gay radio station Gaydio (WHY didn’t anyone think of that name before?!) will be broadcasting live from the heart of the Stockholm Pride festival. They’re pitching up space in Sweden’s most famous gay bar, Torget, and will be playing the latest and the greatest in Swedish pop. Plus, on top of that, they’ll be chatting to some scandipop artists who’ll be dropping by throughout the afternoon, AND they’ll be conversing with us here at scandipop.co.uk too.
We’re not allowed to reveal the artists yet, but they’re all acts that we’ve featured on this very website before.
You’ll be able to tune in worldwide at www.gaydio.co.uk, or via the Gaydio iPhone app. Or, if you’re in Manchester in the UK, you can listen on 88.4FM. It’s from 4pm – 6pm UK time, or 5pm – 7pm local Swedish time. This Sunday.
