It’s here! FINALLY!
The video to one of our favourite songs of the year so far – certainly our favourite song by a new artist, ‘We Shine’ by Sweden’s Alex Saidac, now has its very own pop vid. We’ve waited quite a while for things to get moving on this – just under five months, to be precise. So it’s great to be able to finally see Alex acting out as the mega popstar we’ve imagined her to be!
It’s a club video, but oh-so very stylish with it. It looks incredibly cool – not least because of the ice-breaking concept that they’ve incorporated into it.
Most interestingly of all however, is how the video has come about to be on youtube. It hasn’t been uploaded by her Swedish label, SoFo Records, but rather by a UK label – AATW. We can only assume that this means that the song has been picked up for UK release, and will be put out by either AATW (who currently have September also), or their sister label 3 Beat (who’ve got Agnes, Ola, and Le Kid). Either way, it’s fantastic to know that another top notch scandipop song is being given a chance in the UK.
