So we’ve already had the new version of Danny Saucedo’s modern day pop classic, ‘If Only You’, re-recorded with Freja for UK release. And we’ve had the subsequent Danny-with-a-difference dubstep remix too. Now we’ve got Danny & Freja teaming up with one of our favourite remix teams EVER – 7th Heaven!
They’ve done a remix for the UK release of the single next month. A BANGING CLUB FLOORFILLER, if you will. It respectfully keeps the original awe-inspiring piano riff intact, adds a heavy layer of synths, a sprinkling of tribal drums, and wraps it up as the perfect accompaniment to Danny Saucedo’s first outing to Great Britain.
Obviously at this stage we have no idea how the UK release will pan out, although we do know that it’s getting its first play on BBC Radio 1 this Friday, after already having had a couple of spins on BBC Radio 2. Whatever that all means with regards to a record’s success these days!
