Swedish legends, The Ark, are spending most of this year on a farewell tip. Greatest Hits album, all new swansongs, and of course some final gigs to fans.
SVT’s Klubbland series went along to one of these shows and filmed a 20 minute mini-documentary comprising three live songs and some backstage footage of, and conversation with, the band. These gigs seem all the more fraught with emotion considering that both the fans and the group know that it’s all coming to an end. The audience reaction is more fevered, and the band’s performance even more heartfelt and powerful. And it’s all quite fantastic viewing as a result.
