It’s here! The first taste of the brand new Swedish production outfit that we wrote about a couple of weeks back. Actually, it’s less of a taste, more of a three course meal!
It’s Dream Beats, it’s their featured vocalists Alcazar, and it’s the extended remix of their debut single, ‘Feel 4 U’. AND IT’S STREAMING IN FULL HERE!
What did you make of that then?!
Here’s what we thought – fabulous! It’s a discorgasm straight from the 70’s. Written by Anders Hansson, and produced by Anders plus Felix and Märta from Le Kid, it’s a song tailor made for clubs with dancefloors that are made up of those light-up square thingies. Although it’s also been tailored made more for the kind of ears that enjoy those kinds of dancefloors – since they went out of fashion long ago and you’d be hard pushed to actually find one these days.
It’s an extended remix, so it’s multiple minutes of mega music to be enjoyed. It’s all-out, unashamed, disco flavoured, dance-pop at its very very finest. We’re DJing at Torget Bar in Stockholm this weekend, and cannot WAIT to give it a spin or two, as it’s just the sort of audio candy that you know is going to sound even more amazing after several units of alcohol has been consumed, and you’re surrounded by a plethora of Scandinavian homosexuals. We’ll drink to that.
As it’s the extended remix, we don’t know how different the radio edit is going to sound. However, Anders Hansson himself is going to be sending us the actual radio edit this weekend, once he gets back from Egypt (and “a slow internet connection”), and he’s said that we can upload a preview of it for you all to have a listen to. So never fear, if the radio edit doesn’t crop up anywhere else online over the next few days, then the very longest you’ll have to wait to hear it, is early next week on here!
