Exciting new artist, Vanbot, has today premiered another brand new song from her forthcoming self-titled album. And once again, she’s made it available as a FREE DOWNLOAD!
Since making herself known to pop music a few weeks ago with the rather brilliant ‘Make Me, Break Me’, Vanbot has got a lot of people very interested. In fact, pretty much EVERY blog that we read religiously has shared our enthusiasm about her and gone on to write some very nice things about her and her music. And she’s got people talking about her on a fair few pop forums too. All in all, it’s been an impressive amount of adoring coverage, in such a short space of time. All deservedly so, too.
Her latest song is called ‘Lost Without You’. And it’s probably going to get even more comparisons with Robyn (we’re hearing ‘The Girl & The Robot’ here, musically at least, not melodically) from the aforementioned blogs and pop forums than ‘Make Me, Break Me’ did. But that’s hardly an unfavourable comparison! ‘Lost Without You’ is slightly more laidback than its predecessor, but it’s still an up-tempo electro ‘jam’. Whereas ‘Make Me, Break Me’ had manic synths going on everywhere (much to our delight!), ‘Lost Without You’ calms things down, and makes said synths now sound like they know exactly where they’re going and what they’re doing. They’re all in unison to create a warm vibe.
