The ‘Song of the Week’ this week goes to Christian Falk featuring Robyn – ‘Dream On’ (Moto Blanco Remix). Most of you should already be aware of the song in its original edit, which itself is a beautiful track very worthy of the UK single release it’s getting from Ministry of Sound. Robyn’s been performing it at most of the shows she’s done in the UK this summer. But the Moto Blanco remix does exactly what a remix should do to a song – turns it into an excellent track in its own right. Like most Moto Blanco remixes it’s commercial and club friendly, which is what the song needed. But at the same time the song retains its charming mood and sentiment. This should hopefully be a staple in UK clubs this autumn. It’s catchy and has got the type of commercial house beat that is doing so well in UK clubs at the moment. It’ll certainly be played at scandipop if nowhere else.
