And now for our final preview from September’s ‘Love CPR’ album. We’ve given you clips of all of the new songs that will appear on her album. The rest (‘Resuscitate Me’, ‘Mikrofonkåt’ etc etc) are already available to listen to online at youtube or Spotify or wherever. And now tomorrow ‘Love CPR’ is finally released digitally all across Scandinavia (and physically on the 16th).
‘Teddybjörnen Fredriksson’ closes the album, and is her beautiful cover version of the Lasse Berghagen classic. She famously performed it on episode one of Så Mycket Bättre late last year, and it was perhaps the starting point of Sweden’s new love affair with Petra Marklund. The as yet unreleased studio version is a stunning acoustic guitar ballad, and a great addition to her dance record. It’s an impressive showcase of the softer side of her vocals.
