Melodifestivalen 2019 winner John Lundvik is back with his first new music since the release of his Melodifestivalen 2022 finalist. New single ‘Inget Är Som Sommaren’ is a change in direction for the Swedish artist, with the tempo being increased by quite a lot, and with the genre glancing over its shoulder to the synthpop of the ’80s for some influence. With this being the summer of 2023 though, the song’s also got production elements in it that will come about naturally after 12 months of hearing ‘As It Was’ by Harry Styles on constant radio rotation. The lofty ambitions of a big pop chorus set it on a different path however, with the song landing on a sweet spot that we’ll be returning to a lot this summer.
