One of 2022’s most reliable new music talents, Eline Noelia, has taken a brief break from bestowing her own top-tier pop tunes upon us, and has instead had a go at tackling someone else’s. Namely, ‘Unholy’ – the current global smash by Sam Smith & Kim Petras. She’s enlisted the help of her mate Falito, and turned in what’s a faithful cover of the original. It wasn’t until we heard her vocal take-on the sizeable melody, that we realised that ‘Unholy’ actually has a lot in common with the choruses she’s been belting out all year, on the likes of ‘Don’t Pray For Me’ and ‘Shockwave’. This was really an inspired choice for Eline, and a nice finishing touch to a splendid debut year.
