What’s this? Sweden’s Tove Styrke is back with a brand-new single, and a late addition to her current album – this is ‘Another Broken Heart’.
What’s it like? The heart might well be broken, but it’s still pounding hard! This takes us right back to ‘White Light Moment’ Tove. Racing electronica that’s speeding under a euphoric pop melody. It’s already up there as one of her very best. And those are some almighty highs for a song to have to reach.
What does Tove say? “It’s about heartbreak. A friend of mine got dumped and that’s when I wrote it. I like the cinematic streak along with the driving beat. It feels both naive and grand in some way, which I think suits the song.”
