What’s this? Danish artist Clara is back with her first new release since 2020’s ‘Growing Up Sucks‘ album. She returns now with her new single ‘Energies Don’t Lie’.
New sound, too? As she says so succintly on her Facebook page: “New era. Get into it“.
What’s the song like? A thoroughly modern r&b anti-love song. The production on this sounds like something from the near future, but Clara’s vocal delivery stands up alongside it so that the complex soundscape never threatens to steal the show from the artist.
