What’s this? Swedish artist Ellen Benediktson has got herself a brand-new single out, which we’re quite enthralled by. This is ‘Ingen Ängel’.
What’s it like? It’s a bit of a wild ride, this one! Rock flavoured – raucously so. And with a smashing great pop melody to go along with the adrenaline-pumping production.
What does Ellen say? “It’s a total ‘slap in the face’, high-energy, pop/rock song that you wanna dance all night to. The song’s about being way too much, doing dumb shit you know you shouldn’t do but – what the hell – sometimes you gotta live a little on the edge to.”
Written by? The artist herself, along with David Fremberg.
More from Ellen? A song she has co-written – which also happens to be an absolute banger – has made it to this Saturday’s final of the Estonian pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. ‘Fire’ by Elysa.
