Was Fred not invited?! As much as we would love every new song on the planet to be a new KEiiNO song, every new song on the planet does not in fact have to be a new KEiiNO song. And so two of the band’s members – Tom Hugo and Alexandra Rotan – have gotten together to release a song that’s quite different to the band’s usual output. This is ‘I Was A Fool’
What’s it like? A timeless duet about regret on which we get to hear some beautiful harmonies showcased from the pair of them. One listen in and it already sounds like a familiar old classic.
What do they say about it? Tom: “It’s a song about losing someone. But sometimes, sad songs can work as a comforting blanket. We hope this one will do that for you. A song for those darker, autumn nights.”
