What’s this? Danish artist Bathsheba has recently been WOWing us with a couple of her tunes, and now she’s gone and followed them up with the released of her debut EP – ‘As Of Right Now’.
What’s on it? Those aforementioned two tunes – ‘Run‘ and ‘LALA‘ – plus three other tracks.
What are the new songs like? Well thankfully, two of them are just as brill as those two previously released singles. And then the other one is a ballad which closes the EP and honestly that’s just fine, it’s allowed, honestly.
And the new gems? ‘Fighting For Your Love’ is the purest POP we’ve heard Bathsheba sound thus far. A statement of intent with a powerful production to back it up. On ‘Bodywalk’, meanwhile, she treats us to some synthpop that is equal parts sultry and sass.
