What’s this? Norwegian talents Rat City are back with a brand-new banger. And with it, they’ve reunited with the chap with whom they made their very first hit – ‘Kind Of Love‘ – Isak Heim. This is their latest single ‘Rather Be’.
What’s it like? Uplifting dance-pop with plenty of brass behind it as it leans more and more into disco. The Rat City lot are absolute masters of melody, and they have seemingly pulled out all of their tricks in the composition of this one. And obviously that’s resulted in a big ol’ tune and a half for all of us to bop to.
