What’s this? One of the Sweden’s most reliable artists – Brother Leo – is back with his first new release in a while. This is his something-of-a-comeback single ‘People’. And today he’s released the music video, which you can watch below. In it, he plays Jesus. Like, literally.
What’s it like? An instantly likable tune that’s elevated to big-bop status thanks to a production from NEIKED. The lyrics come with plenty of charm too, magnified once you read Brother Leo’s own thinking behind them.
What does he say? “‘People’ is the first single from a fairly large number of songs that I have worked on in recent years. The song is in many ways an observation and a play with perspectives, in some ways a classic love song and in other ways a cynical observation of us humans.”
Written by? The man himself, along with Andreas Levander, David Wikberg and Fred Gibson.
