What’s this? Norwegian artist Charlotte Qvale is out with some new music – her latest single ‘Ghost’.
What’s it like? Uplifting synthpop that’s been peppered with a nice helping of feel-good, thanks to a relatable, let’s-aim-to-be-more-carefree lyric.
What does Charlotte say? “2020 was a mix between really evolving as an artist and the feeling of banging my head against the wall. I’ve never had so much fun making music, but at the same time I can’t remember ever having felt as frustrated in my job. I was finally going to do live shows again, we had it all planned, but we just barely made one concert in October before everything shut down. I’m thankful for having experienced some rough times in my life, I believe the experiences come handy now in a time that I just have to place blind faith in what I do and trust it all to work out. 2021 didn’t exactly start off in the positive way we had all been longing for.”
Written by? Charlotte Qvale, David Atarodiyan, Silje Nordlien and Truls Dyrstad.
More from Charlotte? We were also very enamoured with her previous single – ‘Not Gonna Die‘.
