This Saturday, December 19th, Norwegian pop titans KEiiNO have organised a Holiday Special online concert that will make jingle bells ring and viewers go “Ho-ho-le-loi-la” (and don’t pretend that you don’t know how that sounds!).
They’ve kindly given Scandipop two tickets to the online event to give away in a competition. To enter, all you have to do is go to our Twitter profile (@scandipop) find our KEiiNO tweet which has been conveniently pinned to the top of our profile, and quote-tweet it with the Eurovision song from the contest’s history that you think would most have benefitted from having a joik section in it!
Do it any time between now and 20.00 CET tomorrow, Friday 18th, and we’ll pick two winners at random to receive the two tickets.

The Norwegian ESC 2019 televote-winners have just finished their Christmas Spirit in the Sky tour in Norway, and now people all over the world can enjoy it. As well as their brand new winter single ‘A Winters Night’, KEiiNO performs seasonal versions of their most played singles and covers Christmas hits like ‘All I Want For Christmas’, ‘Winter Wonderland’ and ‘Happy Xmas’ together with a live band. Fred, Tom and Alexandra sing an all-live version of ‘Spirit in the Sky’, as well as their version of another big ESC-hit from one of their Nordic neighbours.
“I think everyone knows how much we like to play concerts, and that we love to travel the world in order to meet and perform for our fans. This year has been difficult for many people out there, and we wanted to do something special to lift the Spirit. We know that an online concert is not the same as being in the room with the band, but the venue we rented has a very special athmosphere I think viewers will appreciate. And, the concert will be streamed in a high quality audio and video-production, so I think it’ll feel like a good substitute”
What does 2021 look like for KEiiNO?
“As we’ve gotten more time on our hands to write and record new songs this year, we’ve got a lot of new songs we’re excited to release. The KEiiNO-saga is far from over, and as we’ve grown tighter as a band, I think the listeners will hear that in our upcoming songs as well. And hopefully, this bloody pandemic will be over soon so we can travel and play live again“.
Christmas Spirit in the Sky will be streamed on the platform vier.live, and a ticket sells for 150 kr (14 Euro). The show will be available from Saturday 19th at 20.00 CET, all the way up until 15th of January, so it’s possible to watch whenever you are ready for some “Ho-ho-he loi la“.
