Oooh, what’s this? It’s a global pop collaboration in which Brazilian producer ALOK teams up with Turkish producer Ilkay Sencan and they get Sweden’s own Tove Lo to co-write and sing. And this is the result – ‘Don’t Say Goodbye’.
What’s it like? A dance track that certainly knows how to do some proper relentless pounding. As it were.
What does Tove say? “‘Don’t Say Goodbye’ is such a hypnotic banger of a track. I’m so happy that Alok and Ilkay wanted me to be a part of this cause I think we did some real dance magic here. One of the most productive things I did in lockdown too, we recorded it remotely across LA, São Paulo, and Istanbul in the spring. Can’t wait to be able to play it for all of you, and be able to dance together again to it… soon please.”
