What’s this? It’s the debut EP from Swedish artist AWA! ‘cry.baby’.
Why’s she called it that? Well, in her own words, “Sad girl moment for ya. I might have been a cry.baby when I wrote these songs, but who is crying now, baby? My EP is out and I’m so happy to finally share it – it’s all about love from different perspectives. Embrace your rollercoaster self.”
What’s on it? Her four recent singles plus two brand-new songs, ‘Use You’ and ‘Piano Song’.
Highlights? The Scandipop Award nominated ‘Like I Do’ is the hottest thing on there, with ‘Comfortable’ also bringing a nice level of heat. But the whole things works wonderfully as a cohesive EP that is best enjoyed from start to finish, as intended, with ‘Piano Song’ contributing something particularly speacial – sound wise – as the EP’s closer.
