What’s this? Swedish artist Melanie Wehbe follows up ‘Make Room‘ with her brand new single – ‘Forget You’.
What does Melanie say? “The song is about the pain and frustration of not being able to let go of the one you love that has chosen a different path in life. And there you are, stuck with the love, the memories, and the scent that lingers in every cell in one’s body….it’s not like I can snap my fingers and forget you”.
What does Scandipop say? One of those break-up songs that makes the listener somewhat selfishly glad the break-up happened in the first place, because it means we got to have this song out of it. Sorry Melanie! But ‘Forget You’ IS incredibly beautiful.
Written by? Melanie Wehbe, Patrik Jean, and Herman Gardarfve (who also produced it).
You can find ‘Forget You’ on our Best New Pop playlist.
