Who? A Swedish songwriter who has previously written for other artists (like Zara Larsson and Astrid S), and who now launches as an artist in her own right. With her debut single ‘Wild Enough’. The music video has just been released – featuring a performance masterminded by Dance Goals.
What does Elina say? “It’s the story of things I’m faced with and can relate to. I wanted ‘Wild Enough’ to talk about my self-belief in my own ability and the fear of being seen as inadequate but also the will to do better and the pursuit of being proud of who I am and what I accomplish.”
What does Scandipop say? WHAT A DEBUT!!! Elina arrives onto the scene with a powerful piano ballad that goes straight for the heart strings, and doesn’t relent once it grabs them. Every bit of emotion that Elina clearly had when writing ‘Wild Enough’ is on full display here. And we’re loving it. We’ve been listening to this one lots since its release, and it’s turned into one of our fave debut singles of the year so far.
