Swedish artist Mikaela ensured we threw plenty of plays her way earlier in the year thanks to the release of the rather marvellous ‘Stereotypes‘. And now this week she’s back with the follow-up. It’s new single ‘Lie To Me’. An r&b pop song that mercifully stays well away from the sonic traps that – let’s face it – most other r&b singles seem to be falling into this year, thus making so many of them sound the same. ‘Lie To Me’ by comparison sounds fresh, and invigorates the genre without betraying it. The song was written by Mikaela herself, alongside producers Alexander Papadimas and Sohrab Minookherad.
