Here it is – Linda Bengtzing and Velvet’s performance of ‘Victorious’ at last night’s Sommarkrysset. We were there, and these two were the highlight of the evening. Although it was an excellent evening of entertainment, with Eric Saade and Alexandra Burke also turning in great performances, and EMD all looking ridiculously sexy on presenting duties.
Wow! A giant black and gold spectacle, excellent vocals, and two great pop stars having a lot of fun performing a brilliant song.
Eric Saade was also on top form as always. It’s wonderful to see how much of a star he’s become in Sweden, and how much the public are into him – he got by far the biggest reaction last night. This performance goes some of the way in explaining why. He’s a charming performer and looks like a natural born entertainer. After Sommarkrysset, we went along to his (huge and very swanky) album release party, for his debut album ‘Masquerade which is released this week in Sweden. And he performed three new songs from the album; ‘Upgrade’, ‘Masquerade’, and a very nice ballad that is going to be the next single, ‘Break of Dawn’.
And finally, Alexandra Burke was also amazing last night. And on top of this super performance at Sommarkrysset below, she also performed at Eric Saade’s album party – ‘Bad Boys’, ‘Broken Heels’, and ‘All Night Long’.
