Who? “TEIP is a four-piece, Anglo-Norwegian producer collective based in Norway making electronic indie pop. Their music is inspired by indie, electronica, and chillwave”. And THIS is their debut single ‘Friendzone’.
What’s it like? Well we know that they won’t mind comparisons to their fellow Norwegians Matoma and Kygo, because they even go so far as to mention both names in their press release. And yeah – ‘Friendzone’ pretty much cements Norway’s reputation as the spiritual home of tropical house. This however, is one of the best examples of the genre we’ve heard. It’s an instantly loveable track that reeks of an overflowing potential for international success.
More from them? “TEIP is currently working on more singles and an EP that will be release spring 2016”. Marvellous news.
