Last night the Danes held their one-night-affair to select their entry to the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. And they ended up choosing ‘The Way You Are’ by Anti Social Media.
What’s it like? Despite the fact that it’s performed by four chaps with guitars and stuff, ‘The Way You Are’ is PURE pop. Retro styled, with influences ranging from Motown to Britpop, and with a bit of boyband flavour thrown into the mix as well. There were at least SIX songs that we would have preferred see win over this, but it’s hard to begrudge them them the triumph – because the song is immensely likeable, and undeniably catchy. It should do very well for Denmark at Eurovision in May.

We’d say ‘Hotel A’, ‘Mi Amore’ and ‘Manjana’ are all unmissable, but if you’ve got time you should give them lot of them a viewing. Such is the magic of a Nordic Melodi Grand Prix!
