Awesome. An album highlight – which is QUITE the compliment. Indeed, and today Tove Lo has released the video for ‘Talking Body’ – her most recent Swedish single.
Is this her new international single too then? Yes. ‘Not On Drugs’ sort of became dead on arrival (unfathomably). But now that she’s had more success recently with her featured vocal on Alesso’s ‘Heroes’ (one Tove Lo song that we really haven’t been able to get on board with), hopefully radio etc will be more receptive to ‘Talking Body’.
Which will lead in nicely to the UK release of the album. Precisely. And because ‘they’ staggered the UK release of the album, Tove is now in a position that this REALLY needs to be a UK hit for her. Otherwise she’s a bit fucked. Which doesn’t seem right really.
What happens in the vid? It’s a lot like the song – brimming with confidence and sauciness and cool.
