Elisa out of Elisa’s has a Christmas single! She does. Her own interpretation of ‘Bereden Väg För Herran’, a Swedish classic which was most recently covered by Sanna, Shirley & Sonja themselves.
What’s she done with it? Added a much better production. She takes it to Lord of the Rings OST territory. A fairytale Christmas.
Is it gorgeous? It’s gorgeous.
A banger would have been nice though. It would. We’d hoped that last year’s success of ‘One More Sleep’ and ‘Underneath The Tree’ would spur all of our Swedish faves on to break out the poppers scented Christmas candles and rejoice in festive cheer. But alas, it’s all ballads round here. Albeit gorgeous ones like this.
