Two new Christmas songs? A double a-side Christmas single, featuring ACTUAL Christmas music. As in – bells and stuff.
And Gladys wrote the songs herself didn’t she? That’s correct. Along with Benny Jansson and Håkan Larsson for ‘Stjärnan Lyser Klar’, and Jimmy Åkerfors for ‘Julens Timma’.
And we don’t even have to ask about the vocals. Needless to say, she sings the absolute baby Jesus out of them. They’re both mid-tempo, rousing festive ballads. (with ‘Julens Timma’ just clinching it as our fave of the two)
