Hot Danish guy (hello there set of shoulders) Jonas Benjamin has this week released the video for his new single, the first since signing with Sony (after becoming a bit of an internet sensation and scoring a hit all on his lonesome). It’s ‘Overgiv Dig’, an opportunity for a loaded translation, if ever we saw one.
The song is a catchy and uplifting soul-pop track. It’s one of those made-for-the-radio songs, and we hope that Danish radio responds to it as such, as we’d like to hear more from this chap. It’s a little like a cross between the sound that Kim Cesarion has been putting out in neighbouring Sweden, and Nico & Vinz have been exporting from Norway.
22 year old Jonas wrote ‘Overgiv Dig’ himself, along with Daniel Mirza Salcedo and Jesper Krüger Nielsen.
