Danish singer Kill J (of ‘Bullet‘ and ‘Phoenix‘ fame and notoriety) today releases her new single. It’s ‘Cold Stone’ and you can have yourself a right old listen to it below.
Electro-indie that’s brilliantly produced and which showcases a staggering range to Lady J’s vocals. It doesn’t always sound “comfortable”, but then we don’t really think she’s going for that with ‘Cold Stone’. It’s a short one, this one. And once it finishes you are left ever so slightly wondering what just happened – but that results in another couple of listens, and it seems to get better with each one.
“RUN RUN RUN RUN, I GOT IT” (or whatever it is she says during that vocal riff high point that run run run runs throughout the song)
