Mapei! The world went a bit mental for ‘Don’t Wait’ at the end of last year. Universally positive exposure on the blogs. And it even charted at number 117 in the UK. It appears that we were the only ones who didn’t like what we heard. And we still don’t really ‘get it’.
New single ‘Change’ came out in June. Again – universally positive exposure on music blogs. And again, we felt a bit lonesome in our indifference to it. But by GUM – it turns out that this one actually IS a banger, and the rest of the world wasn’t lying! What a chorus it’s got up its sleeve (eventually). In fairness, this seems to be the sort of stuff we write about straight away when it’s delivered in Danish by the likes of Clara Sofie, so we don’t really know why it took us so long with this one. ‘Change’ is undeniably ace.

New album ‘Hey Hey’ arrives on September 23rd. We’d love if it was a lot more ‘Change’ and a lot less ‘Don’t Wait’.
