Swedish singer SLASH rapper Dinah Nah has just released a new single and video. The retropoptastic ‘Like You’.
Following on from ‘I Am‘ (which was also a tune), ‘Like You’ is a catchy, funky pop track that channels 80s disco music like it’s booming from the soundtrack to Mariah Carey’s ‘Glitter’! It’s a fierce kind of funk too, thanks to Dinah’s fun delivery of the tune – she sounds like she’s having a blast with it, which always translates to the listener too. And she has our utmost respect for shoe-horning in a key change at the end. That’s what we like. All in all, it’s a funked up riot.
The video is pretty fierce too.
The single is out now and has been released outside of Sweden too.
