Eddie Razaz today follows up his debut single and Melodifestivalen entry ‘Alibi’, with the release of brand new single ‘Head Up High’.
A world away from what you heard him do with ‘Alibi’, ‘Head Up High’ is a mid-tempo, uplifting pop ballad. Inspirational and self-motivational lyrics are delivered over a soft and soulful beat. Quirky verses give way to a catchy pop chorus, and a sing-along post-chorus. And there’s some dreamy strings thrown into the mix. You can’t beat those dreamy strings.
We still do love ‘Alibi’, but we think we’re correct in assuming that it’s ‘Head Up High’ that will more form the blueprint of what we’ll be hearing from Mr Razaz in the future. It’s more ‘him’. Either way, we should find out soon enough. He’s been working pretty constantly with different writers and producers since his Melodifestivalen appearance, and a debut EP is expected to be released soon.
