Denmark’s Soluna Samay is back after a small hiatus, with a brand new single.
You may remember her from last year’s Eurovision Song Contest, where she represented the Danes with the really quite good ‘Should’ve Known Better‘. We enjoyed that.
This new track is all quite repetitive, but you don’t really mind, as it’s a hugely upbeat and jaunty number. Irresistibly so. So you don’t mind getting caught up in the lyrics that seems to be going around in a circle. Each chorus is punctuated by a big old “HEY“, which seems to be the crux of the whole catchiness factor here.
It’s really quite charming.
The single is out now, and has been released outside of Denmark too.
