Eric Saade has got a new single out tomorrow. And it’s a special one.
He’s been selected to write and release the official theme for the UEFA women’s Euro 2013 football tournament.
The song ‘Winning Ground’ is an up-tempo and rousing dancepop track. Eric said that when writing it, he wanted it to have an arena feel – something that would sound great in arenas, and that has a big orchestral sound. It’s an anthemic song, quite different to what he’s releasing elsewhere at the moment. A lot more pop orientated, with a catchy chorus, and with a post-chorus that you can chant.
Football anthems have always been very hit and miss. But this one is most definitely a HIT!
