The original has been a big hit in Sweden over the past month or so. Although it’s not really been to our taste (much to Kim’s relief, we imagine).
Last week however, a remix of the song arrived which proceeded to shove a metaphorical rocket up its sonic arse, and thus also up in our estimations too. Swedish producer Oliver Nelson is responsible for the remix of ‘Undressed’, the debut single from Swedish artist Kim Cesarion. He’s turned it into some discosoulpop hybrid. And it’s a sound that suits the melody and tone of the song to perfection, while accentuating the impressive vocal range that Kim showcases throughout.
In short: it turns ‘Undressed’ into a big tune.
The new remix isn’t yet available on iTunes. But the original is, and has been released outside of Sweden too.
