Swedish dance act Nause have FINALLY put out the radio edit and vocal version of their new single ‘This Is The Song’ this week. Radio edits and vocals make dance music sound better.
Following on from previous singles ‘Made Of‘ and ‘Hungry Hearts‘, the chaps have once again turned out a floor filler of hands-in-the-air proportions. And this time they’ve even gone the extra mile for us and employed a Lady to provide the vocals. It’s like they’re reading our mind here. Said lady provides a big pop topline that peaks every chorus with the triumphant screams of “THIS IS THE SONG“. And she’s right, you know – this IS the song.
It’s so good to have these guys around. So much Swedish dance music released this year and going into next year, is having an awful lot of trouble sticking out, and so much of it is sounding very samey. But with Nause, it’s always something different, something top quality, and something hugely commercial. Granted they’re not re-inventing the wheel – but they’re at least using that wheel the way they should be, in order to get somewhere worth going to. (The Club, in this case).
Oh, and one of them is unspeakably FIT too. Hello there Leonard.
