Swedish girlband Ms Trez have this week released their fourth single. And just as the season suggests, it’s their first ever ballad – ‘Sweet Liar’.
Following on from their previous tunes ‘Louder‘, ‘Beat Is Hot‘, and ‘Sky High‘, ‘Sweet Liar’ slows the tempo right down and comes out fighting as a building, beat heavy ballad, with a drama spewing lyric. The chorus is laced with an overdose of theatrics, and the middle eight takes it to an even bigger stage. It’s all quite semi-epic. And we do love a Good Pop Ballad. This is most definitely a Good Pop Ballad.
Four singles in and they’ve yet to release a dud. Keep ’em coming, girls.
‘Sweet Liar’ has been composed by the same chaps behind ‘Louder’ – Thomas Karlsson and Adam Robinson. And the single has been released worldwide this week.
