One of the most splendiferous Swedish dancepop singles of the year so far has undoubtedly been ‘Big Dreamer‘. And its songstress has seemingly been rewarded for her efforts by securing a place in next year’s Melodifestivalen.
It’s Mary N’Diaye. And to breath some more life into her life giving single ‘Big Dreamer’, she appeared on Swedish TV this morning to give a performance of it. She dropped by Efter Tio on TV4 and played an acoustic version of the song for viewers. Obviously the song doesn’t have quite the same impact as when there’s a massive rave going on behind it, but it’s pleasing to hear the song in a different way, and sheds a new light onto the strong melody.
