Miss Li has turned out to be the earliest success story on this season’s Så Mycket Bättre (although this year we think there’ll be more than one breakout star). Her track from last week, ‘Här Kommer Natten‘ went straight to number 1 after the show, and it’s still there now one week on. We’ve also seen it lauded as being the best thing to ever come out of the show, by many people. Although while we do like it an awful lot, we don’t quite agree with assumption. Hello there, wise old ‘Mikrofonkåt’.
Anyway – this week’s song from her is another winner. She took on Olle Ljungström’s ‘Nåt För Dom Som Väntar’. And it’s a more upbeat and rousing affair than last week’s gloomfest. Plus it’s got that retro flavour that makes turns it into an actual Miss Li song, so (at the risk of sounding like a line-fed X Factor judge) she puts her own stamp on the track.
