Darin continued to be amazing in this season’s Så Mycket Bättre last night, by putting a dance beat over another of his castmate’s old classics and succeeding in indeed making it all sound So Much Better.
This week it was the turn of Olle Ljungström’s back catalogue to receive an almighty redoing. And Darin went with the song ‘En Apa Som Liknar Dig’. We love hearing Darin do dance pop, and we love hearing him sing in Swedish – so his appearance of Så Mycket Bättre is really a win/win for us so far this season. And incidentally, the word ‘apa’ is our favourite Swedish word. Can you believe it means monkey? So little Swedish babies call monkeys ‘APA’ and not only is the cutest thing ever, but it’s entirely correct!
ANYWAY. The song has already reached the top 10 of the Swedish iTunes chart this morning (where his track from last week ‘Stockholm‘ STILL holds steady at number 2).
