An 18 year old Swedish boy has taken it upon himself to remix Petra Marklund’s current monster hit in Sweden, ‘Händerna Mot Himlen’. And blimey – the result is bloody superb.
Hellberg is his name, or rather, his moniker of course. He says on his Facebook page that he’s already had some of his productions released. And, he’s so confident of his talents and therefore impending popularity, that he’s already got his own line of merchandise for sale on there. So he’s admirable in more ways than one.
The remix is lovable because it stays very true to the original, making heavy use of the string riff that brings Petra’s ‘Händerna Mot Himlen’ to life. But of course it also succeeds in being a top notch remix in that it forces a very large metaphorical audio rocket up the arse of its subject. Thrilling!
