With just a month to go until the release of her new album ‘Tangerine Dream’ on October 10th, Miss Li has today sent out a press release telling websites everywhere that they can stream a brand new song of hers – up until Wednesday. Said song is the really very good ‘It Ain’t Over’, which follows on from her also really very good ‘My Heart Goes Boom‘ single that she released earlier this year.

‘It Ain’t Over’ is a jolly gay old romp! Pop music with a certain nod towards the twee and the indie, it sounds like Lily Allen and first album era Kate Nash having a natter with Sweden’s own Amanda Jenssen. So in other words, it sounds a lot like Miss Li then. Glad we cleared that up. The lyrics are age old relationship hopes and aspirations, given a charming makeover by our Miss Li.

The Swedish poplet by all rights should have a fruitful autumn ahead of her. She’s not just got the aforementioned release of her ‘Tangerine Dream’ album with tunes as good as this, but she’ll also be appearing on the new series of Så Mycket Bättre – no doubt hoping to become this year’s Laleh or Petra Marklund with iTunes chart topping cover versions every week.
