Let’s be having another of those Agnes album previews. Today’s cut from the ‘Veritas’ album is ‘Human Touch’.

This is one of the big pop moments on ‘Veritas’. It’s paying an undeniable homage to the 80s – not through electro synths like everyone else does, but via light rock. Tony Nilsson’s production elevates ‘Human Touch’ to become one of those euphoric pop songs, literally with bells on. He’s also put in some gorgeous strings, which are surely by now almost a trademark of Agnes. It’s familiar territory here, but comfortingly familiar at that.
