Norwegian girlband Irresistible are about to get a launch around Europe with their single ‘Elevator’ – so with it comes a video.
Regular Scandipop readers may well remember these girls from when they competed in this year’s Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix with this very song. They didn’t make the finals unfortunately, but they did make a large impression on us. Perhaps tellingly (when you consider their result in the competition) the song didn’t really hit us until the weeks after the contest. But when it did, we realised just how fantastic it is. So it’s good that it’s being given a push outside of Norway now too. Just make sure you stick with this one though – because it’s a definite grower.
Our favourite lyric? “when I get tipsy, I’m gonna steal clothes like a gypsy“.
The video is predictably set in an actual elevator. Marvellous.
